Katie
Katie 1999 - 2008
We got Katie in 1999 when she was about 6 months old. She weighted about 130lbs as an adult and was a sweatheart, she will always hold a special place in my heart. I always loved people's reactions to her, at her first vet visit all the girls kinda hid behind the counter, not wanting to get to close to her (she only weighted 65lbs then). Even the vet seemed a little scared, but she still did her job. Now it came time to give Katie her worm pills mixed in food. Using her finger's the vet fed Katie. Then the fear was gone and all I heard was wow! The vet then told me that Katie did not even touch her with one tooth. So that ended that, and after that Katie stole the hearts of all that met her, well maybe all except the occasional salesman that came to the house.
My girls loved her and talk about her all the time, the hardest thing that we ever had to do was to tell them that she passed away, she was their first dog. RIP Katie!
