Raiden is truely a gentle giant. He was a Momma's boy from day one and is my very own live teddy bear. Everyone that meets Raiden can't help but fall in love with him.
Raiden passed his therapy dog evaluation with flying colours at only 13 months old.
Raiden has had an awesome show career -2010 show season he became a Breed Champion, a Canadian Champion with the Rare Breed Club of Southwestern Ontario, a Canadian Champion also with All Breed International Dog Shows and named national select 5 with the issdc for 2010.
2011 - Raiden became a grand champion with the rbcswo and a master champion with abids. He won many best of breeds, group 1's, reserve Best in shows and Best in shows. With Abi he won top dog for the weekend a few times and had an overall top dog #7 placement. With the rare breed club he was named top dog in breed, #2 in group and #2 overall. Because he had such a great year he received National select #1 with the issdc. Raiden has had an awesome show career and is now retired from the show ring, he now gets to sit back and cheer on his progeny, but just may make a show apearance from time to time.
I am so happy with the way Raiden is developing, he is a very big boned solid boy with nice ears, a straight tail and a gorgeous coat. In Aug. 2010, Raiden completed his temperment test with gunfire and also his herding instint test. A very small clip of his herding instint test can be seen above. If you turn up the volume you can hear the compliments the instructor was giving him. We were later told that out of over 30 dogs (mostly Shilohs) tested that day that Raiden got top honors. We are very proud of our boy!
Raiden currently has sired 4 litters. I love how well all of the pups are doing and developing. We kept his daughter from our Destiny/Raiden litter. See the progeny page for pics and Bella's page!
